Chomps products are made from grass raised and grass finished animals.  To illustrate why that is important, let’s take the case of cows for example.  Cows are meant to eat grass, not corn.  When cows do eat corn, it can cause bacterial infections throughout their digestive tracts.  As a result, many conventionally raised animals are given antibiotics to mitigate these infections.  Not only does this mean you are eating sick animals, but those antibiotics may negatively impact the person who consumes it. How I found it:

Several years ago, I followed the Keto for Women podcast hosted by Shawn Mynar.  As a result, I enrolled in her Fat Burning Female Self Study program.  The program supported the body in switching to fat (ketones) as a primary fuel source over glucose (carbohydrates).  Ketones can be very healing to the body and help correct many health issues.  When the body restores health, weight loss is often an appreciated side effect of that healing.  I learned of Chomps Grass Fed Meat Sticks during this time as it is a highly keto friendly food!

Ketogenic diet can be a powerful healing protocol; however, I believe that metabolically healthy individuals are generally better served by following a balanced whole food diet versus a diet that restricts or overemphasizes any macronutrient

Shawn also introduced me to the idea of intuitive eating.  Intuitive eating refers to having a healthy body that cues you as to what it needs and when it needs it!  I have had bizarre cravings such as celery, kimchi, and sour cream (And no! I was not pregnant!)  I surmise that my body needed those nutrients and as a result I felt drawn to them and ate them non-stop for several days.  After that, any leftovers spoiled and had to be thrown out as I typically do not like these foods!
